CBRE Luxembourg is launching today the second edition of its Office Space of the Year competition, in partnership with Vitra and Paperjam. The competition aims at electing the most outstanding office space in Luxembourg. The 2018 edition of the competition was won by La Mondiale Europartner, a life insurance company.
For the second consecutive year, CBRE Luxembourg is organising its national Office Space of the Year competition, whose objective is to reward corporate workspaces that have distinguished themselves in various categories such as modernity, well-being or hospitality. Last year, the first edition welcomed
33 contestants, including major names from the business world such as the European Bank of Investment, BGL BNP Paribas, Société Générale, ING or Foyer Assurance.
Next to the Office Space of the Year award, the jury will also elect winners in each of the following categories: “Best Lobby”, “Best Healthy Office”, “Best Small Office”, “Best Coworking Space” and this year’s novelty “Best Technology-advanced office”, for all the companies that are proud of their modern technologies, innovative ideas and emphasises on sustainable solutions. The contestant that gets the most likes on its office pictures posted on the competition’s official Instagram page will be awarded the “Public Voting” prize, which consists of a Vitra Panton chair personalized by an artist. The winner of the “Office Space of the Year” award will get a €10,000-worth voucher from Vitra.
The following jury composed of specialists from the real estate, human resources and technology sectors will assess all applications and determine the winners in the various categories: Marie Lucas - Owner of m3 Architectes, Jean Sterbelle – Head of the Leasinvest Luxembourg, Serge Krancenblum – IQEQ’s Group Executive Chairman, Céline Coubray – Journalist at Maison Moderne, Benoît Dourte – Human Resources Director at Groupe Foyer and Patricia Delcourt – Director of CBRE Luxembourg’s Workspace department.
Frank Rosenbaum, Executive Director of CBRE Luxembourg comments on this second edition: “Following the great number of corporate contestants in last year’s Office Space of the Year competition, we have decided to launch it again this year. Many companies have already expressed their enthusiasm for a participation in this 2019 edition, which shows that the focus on creating the best workspace possible remains high.”
The competition will run from Monday, September 2, 2019 to Tuesday, November 12, 2019. The winners will be announced on Thursday, December 5, 2019.
