Pall Center, an independent Luxembourg chain of grocery stores and supermarkets focusing on local, fair trade and organic products, has been awarded the CBRE Office Space of the Year Award, which rewards companies that want to attract and retain the best talents by offering them a qualitative work environment.
Office Space of the Year is a European, CBRE-wide contest that rewards the continuous efforts and investments made by companies to build great workplaces for their employees. For this second Luxembourg edition, 21 applications from all over the Grand-Duchy were received and assessed by a professional jury composed of Marie Lucas (Owner, m3 Architectes), Jean Sterbelle (Head of Leasinvest Luxembourg), Serge Krancenblum (Group Executive Chairman, IQEQ), Céline Coubray (Redactor in Chief, Maison Moderne), Benoît Dourte (Human Resources Director, Groupe Foyer) and Patricia Delcourt (Director, CBRE Luxembourg Workspace department). The jury members based themselves on several aspects impacting people in their daily life at work, amongst which well-being, technology and design of the office space.
In addition to granting the “Office Space of the Year” Award, the Jury dedicated five special achievement awards:
Special Award “Best Lobby”: IEE
Special Award “Wellness”: Pall Center
Special Award “Technology-advanced Office”: IEE
Special Award “Small office”: AtHome Finance
Special Award “Co-working space”: Welkin and Meraki
Silversquare won the Public Voting prize, consisting of a Vitra Panton chair personalized by the artist David Soner, thanks to the 343+ likes accumulated on their Instagram pictures, posted on the contest’s official Instagram page.
Office Space of the Year was organized by CBRE in partnership with Vitra and Paperjam. The contest’s third Luxembourg edition will be launched in September 2020.
