Luxembourg counted 142,800 residential and semi-residential buildings as of March 1, 2017 for 246,800 households. Luxembourg’s population has been booming thanks to significant immigration from european countries. On January 1, 2019, Luxembourg counted a population of 614,000 inhabitants, an increase of 33% from 2005 where the country counted 461,000 people.
