•Most non-essential retailers in Moscow have been forced to close following the imposition of lockdown measures introduced on March 30, which will last until at least April 30. However, grocery stores, pharmacies and other retailers selling essential items remain open. Other categories still operating include childrenswear and pet shops.

•CBRE expects leasing activity to resume in June, with a recovery gaining momentum in Q3 2020. The final quarter of this year may see above-average levels of demand as retailers compensate for the suspension of activity in H1 2020.
