Charles Zhang is a Senior Economist in CBRE's Research forecasting team. He oversees the EMEA multifamily and retail forecasts and contributes to the team's data science projects. He also helps build the latest machine learning and artificial intelligence tools into the forecasting pipeline.
Before joining CBRE, Charles earned a Ph.D. in economics at the University of Oxford, where he wrote papers on commercial and residential real estate. He has also worked with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Property Market Analysis.
Charles is also a visiting scholar in the Department of Economics at the University of Oxford. Outside work, he follows both football and American football and enjoys dinner with friends.
