Michael Taelman has been a prominent leader in the real estate industry since he joined CBRE in 2010 as the Head of Occupier Services. He has successfully developed the strongest team of the sector, leveraging extensive expertise to assist both national and international corporations in crafting and executing their real estate strategies.
In 2011, recognizing the potential of workplace strategy and fit-out management to enhance CBRE’s services, Michael launched the Advisory Project Management (Workspace) department. This initiative, developed in close collaboration with the LeasingS Occupier Services and Investor Leasing teams, has become instrumental in helping clients determine their space requirements, design their work environments, and implement solutions effectively.
Alongside managing the Leasing Services Occupier department, Michael has overseen some of the largest corporate transactions in the BeLux market, including the acquisition of a 100,000 sqm single asset property. His ability to cultivate strong relationships with major occupiers led to his appointment in 2018 to also oversee the Portfolio Services and Contracting Clients departments.
In early 2024, due to his proven track record and comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of real estate, Michael was appointed as the Country Leader of CBRE Luxembourg.
